The foundation of Predisan’s spiritual development work is our network of chaplains, serving our staff, patients, and communities.
For patients and clients, time spent at one of our health facilities is an opportunity to find spiritual as well as physical healing and comfort.
Whether it’s individual encounters through prayer and counseling, or hosting children’s worship at the Predisan Christian Hospital, our chaplains seek to connect with our neighbors and share Jesus’ Good News.
We want to see our own staff experience the same sense of wholeness and flourishing that we desire for the communities we serve, which is why our chaplains also devote themselves to our employees. They have developed a staff-focused program that includes individual pastoral care, study groups, worship services, and an annual retreat.
Building long-lasting relationships with communities often starts with the local volunteer pastor. By supporting these influential leaders through workshops, training, and resources, we seek to strengthen the communities they serve and develop trusting relationships bound together through Christ.
They also go out into the community, spreading God’s love with visits to schools, local organizations, and working with churches in the area.
Begun in 1987 in a small classroom, the GSMC has grown into a 24/7 medical center occupying almost 2.5 acres, and serving a population of 180,000.
Since 1988, the Center for Rehabilitation of Patients with Addictions (CEREPA) has helped thousands of people from Central America and the U.S. to overcome substance abuse through its residential and outpatient recovery programs.
To realize our vision of seeing people experience God’s wholeness, we partner with communities to empower them to meet their foundational needs.

There’s something powerful about gathering together with one purpose. ✨
At Predisan Christian Hospital, more than 80 staff members came together around a bonfire for an evening of worship, praise, dramas, and meaningful connection. It was a beautiful time of reflection, centered on a simple but powerful truth: Jesus is the center and the only One who fills our emptiness.
Led by the PCH Spiritual Care Committee, this special gathering encouraged each person to seek a deeper, personal encounter with Jesus and continue growing in faith. 🔥

Our chaplaincy team recently took part in a powerful training on Crisis Management and Support, equipping them with even more tools to walk alongside people in life’s most difficult moments.
Over two days, chaplains engaged in meaningful learning that was divided into two sessions, first together, then in a session more focussed for hospital chaplains with a goal to strengthen their ability to provide compassionate, effective care in times of crisis.
We were honored to be led by Dr. Gabriel Fisher of Lifeline Chaplaincy in Texas. His first visit to Honduras made a lasting impact, and we’re hopeful it’s just the beginning! It is worth mentioning his 12-year-old son, Ethan, was able to join him and supported the sessions throughout, making the experience even more memorable.💚

✨When strategic planning meets soul care...
Institutional consultant Mauricio Solís partnered with our team to shape our Strategic Plan for 2026–2030, strengthening the future of every program.
At the same time, visiting pastors poured into our staff through teaching, prayer, and inner healing, nurturing both spiritual and emotional well-being. Growing stronger from the inside out! 💙
